Visa® Debit Card– Use your Visa® Debit Card to make purchases. Payment is automatically deducted from your checking account. Or use your Visa® Debit Card to make withdrawals from Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) worldwide.

Valley Premier Bank’s Visa®Debit Cards will be automatically enrolled in Visa®Account Updater (VAU) service.  With VAU, your account files will be updated when information changes because of a product upgrade, card expiration, loss or theft, account closure or other changes.  You are entitled to opt out of this service.  You may opt out at any time.

If you want to opt out, call us at 218-483-3361.  If you choose to opt out or if a merchant you have set up recurring payments at does not participate, you are responsible for providing that merchant with updated card information and may incur fees if you do not do so in a timely manner.

Verified by Visa®- Due to the recent increase in online card fraud, we recommend that you enroll your Visa®Debit Card in Verified by Visa®. Enrolling for this protection requires you to set up a private code for your account which will give you an additional layer of online shopping security.  When shopping online at a participating merchant, you will be prompted to enroll, if you haven't already, or to enter your private code during the online checkout process.

If you forget your private code, you will be locked out after three unsuccessful login attempts.  Please contact Valley Premier Bank at 218-483-3361 to have your card unlocked.

Lost Cards– For lost or stolen Visa® Debit Cards call 1-877-CAN-CEL1 (1-877-226-2351).

Misplaced your debit card?  You can block it immediately - right from your Online Banking or Mobile App.  When you find your card,  unblock it.  It's easy, and it's instant.  (Availability may be affected by your mobile carrier's coverage area. Blocking your debit card is not a replacement for reporting your card lost or stolen.  Contact us immediately if you believe that unauthorized transactions have been made.  Blocking your card will not stop card transactions presented as a recurring transaction, transactions using other cards linked to your deposit account, or the posting of refunds or credit adjustments to your account.  Mobile carrier message and data rates may apply.)

Just remember that when your card is blocked, you won't be able to use it for purchases or ATM withdrawals.  Authorized recurring payments may still be processed.

Debit Card Alerts- To enhance security and reduce debit card fraud, you can have alerts sent to you via email for the following transactions:

  • Online/phone/mail orders
  • Card not present
  • ATM withdrawals
  • International
  • Cash back
  • Declines
  • Fuel
